Bendix and Trico revisited the past

Australian Auto Aftermarket (AAA) Expo visitors were taken on a trip down the automotive workshop memory lane with Bendix and Trico during the record breaking 2026 AAA Expo held in Melbourne from 14-16 May.

The Australian auto trade’s preferred brand of replacement brake products, Bendix, along with one of the world’s leading windscreen wiper manufacturers, Trico, displayed some of their products on a ‘retro’ stand that drew many AAA Expo visitors.

The Bendix and Trico stand focussed on storytelling complete with valuable vintage props that took Expo visitors back to a typical Australian 1950’s rural service station.

The theme of the stand showcased a proud Australian heritage, reinforcing how Bendix has been an important part of Australian automotive workshops since 1955.

While the major theme was an automotive trip back in time, a focus on the present and the future was also strongly featured with Max the Bendix Robot, who followed, high-fived and danced with visitors throughout the three-day event.

Parked in the retro service station was a modified Bendix Camaro in Bendix and Trico Supercar livery, which also proved to be a popular photo stop for many visitors.
