New parts for old Hondas
Honda is planning the 2026 release of parts for selected discounted car models, to aid maintenance and restorations.

Some Hondas from the 1980s and 1990s are treasured possessions of loyal owners, but these discontinued Hondas are becoming increasingly challenging to maintain, with parts getting scarcer all the time. Thankfully, Honda has found a solution for at least some of these machines.
The company announced in mid-2025 that it will begin globally supplying OEM-compatible parts for discontinued vehicles, starting in spring, 2026.
Honda and various partners are investing in solutions to continue supplying replacement parts that are no longer available. The solutions include 3D printing and ‘remanufacturing’ used parts to as-new status.
The list of planned parts wasn’t available in mid-2025, but it was known that the first candidate for the program is the legendary Honda NSX that debuted in 1989. This new offering will effectively replace the NSX Refresh Plan, which was implemented in 1993 and ended in summer, 2025.
Unlike the Refresh program, the new system will use both genuine and OEM-compatible parts.
Models we reckon that Honda is considering for the retro-parts business include the S800, S2000, Prelude, CRX, Integra and even some Civics.
