Wandandian Woodchop and Car Show

 

We ventured along to cover the above event at this hamlet on the NSW South Coast, in October 2022. A couple of the Shannons’ crew  – Sheena and Neville – were there to support the event, and were busy all day at the tent, fielding enquiries from many car owners. 

 

 

 

Integrating a car show and a wood chop event could be fraught with danger, but Jim Gibson said it was plenty of fun. The Wandandian Progress Association who ran the show pulled it off very nicely.

 

 

The standard of presentation was quite high, as well as being extremely diverse. We classified the diversity as ‘The Good’ ‘The Bad’ and ‘The Ugly’. Of course, as Plato said in the fourth century BC, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  

To sum up, the weather was fine and a good day was had by all and, of course importantly, owners got to drive their cars and stretch their legs.
